- Solstice Parade - Painting a nakey
This weekend Seattle celebrated the longest day of the year by hosting the annual eclect-a-thon called “Sostice Parade”.
I painted my friend and studiomate Eric Smiley with a weather map - though it could be interpreted as a human diorama on global warming. There was a rain shower, snow gusts, lows in the 30s and highs […]-

Seattle weather turns for the better in May and I’ve taken my Trek 420 early 80s aluminum frame super-bike out for some jaunts. The KOMO news team caught me on the way to teaching at the Vera project and did a little adjustment work on my bike helmet, which I’m rather sloppy in wearing. Check […]

- Research in Cuba - architecture and cultural spaces
I am currently writing a proposal for a research project to be carried out in Cuba (la Habana, Trinidad, Santiago, etc) the winter of 2008-9, under the auspices of the University of Washington, where I am a Sociology student. It will study architecture outside of the framework of UNESCO preservation/landmarks, marrying this component with the […]
About
I use antiquated methods to make work that is current, different, and dynamic. I don't buy the hype: we will always have books and printing presses. In my work and other endeavours, I am fascinated with the learning process, usability, and tactile legacy of design. Right now I am particularly intrigued by the interplay of visual art and motion: hence, motiongraphics. I welcome offers to show, collaborate, commission, write, teach and otherwise make art.
